This weekend, I photographed a 10 days old baby outside the comfortable walls of my studio. That was really exceptional for me. I have my style and way to work with babies and it doesn’t really match with on location photography. I usually decline this kind of request, but as I didn’t have any studio here in Belgium it was the only way to please my “old” client who was very happy with all the previous sessions (3) and wanted to hire me again for their last little one. And that’s what my job is about, make my clients happy.
Taking pictures of the same family again and again leads to some kind of friendship that makes things easier and more relax for everybody. They live in the countryside in a kind of farm turning to a riding academy with nothing around. There is tons of interesting spots for pictures, but with a newborn, trust me, that shrinks the choice considerably…
