Few days ago, I randomly met an old client that was telling me how much her little Nicolas was everything to her and how much she was enjoying to spend a lot for his fancy outfits. Nicolas is 15 months now and she wanted to have some new portraits taken.
After a look at his wardrobe, I proposed her to go in a more fashion way, even though it can really be tricky to get those kind of images at this age, I feel like I did some good job with the little man but I leave that to your own appreciation.

The Harry Fayt Studio will be present at New York Family Fun Day event on September 25th on New York City.
Nearly one year ago I opened the Harry Fayt Studio in New York City. What a great experience, I enjoy it day after day, New York is so surprising.
However I still have clients in Europe, In Belgium where I am from, people often have babies before to get married. So I shot their family portraits and they called me back for the wedding, how could I refuse. So, I decided to spend the summer here.
Beside the wedding documentary, I shot a fashion series with the amazing Aurore Morisse as the model for Pamela Ottaviani.com, a young Belgian stylist who launched a shoes line.
The concept behind the shot was to illustrate that those shoes was pretty wearable with different looks. The multiplicity which is a concept I want to develop in my future work is showing this idea perfectly.
We really had lot of fun that day, and I will never thanks my team enough so, thank you guys !

Last month, I shot the second pregnancy of a client in the country side. That was a pretty new environment for me to work in, but we got great images. We ended the day by a delicious barbecue, it was really a wonderful day.
At the end of the month I will photographs their 2 weeks baby at the same location. It’s really exiting for a studio photographer like me to try some new things like that, it opens me to see my work in another way and get very different images that I couldn’t have in a peaceful studio where I can control everything.
